Since 2017, the Corrections Department has promoted the "Scientifically Evidence-based Drug Prisoner Treatment Model Project". In addition to handling various drug counseling strategies on weekdays, the Institute will use the video system to conduct drug treatment lectures on May 26, 2022. This time Specially invited psychologist Liu Yingzhu from the Nuanxin Whole Person Psychological Consultation Center to give a lecture on the theme of "Addiction Concept and Addiction Rehabilitation Strategies", in order to provide the inmates with professional and appropriate medical knowledge and to enhance colleagues and students' understanding of drug addiction.

Along the way, our institute has attached great importance to the treatment of drug addiction. In the past, we have invited people who have experienced drug addiction to speak up and continue the encouragement of successful drug addicts. This time, through the professional psychology course, we will strengthen the improvement of the overall health of the inmates, so that the inmates can improve their physical and mental health. In terms of medical treatment, psychotherapy, social welfare support, etc., a series of resource integration information is obtained to prepare for the return of the inmates, reduce the possibility of recidivism, and hope to light up the heart in the darkness of the drug problem. The lecture was attended by 14 staff members and 65 inmates.
